The Northbrook Fire Department maintains three fire stations housing two engine companies, one truck company and three paramedic ambulances.   It delivers paramedic transport, fire prevention, fire suppression, fire safety education, a hazardous materials team, underwater rescue and recovery, and has special capabilities for high-rise and below grade technical rescue.
