About Us

Mission Hills, one of the nation's first golf-course communities, traces its roots to 1971. At that time, Eugene Corley Builders teamed with Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance in a joint venture to acquire the 144-acre Hills Golf Course in unincorporated Cook County.   Over the next 13 years, the joint venture partners laid the groundwork for what is now a 24-hour, gated residential community comprised of 781 residences — 650 condominiums situated in thirteen, five-story midrise buildings and 131 separate townhouses.

The Mission Hills Home Owners Association (HOA), which oversees the upkeep and maintenance of the residential community, was formed in 1973. The HOA Board of Directors includes one representative from each of the 13 individual associations included within the HOA — one from each of the eight midrise and five townhome associations.
